This is week eighty-one in my personal “If… Project” in which I answer questions from the book “If… (Questions for the Game of Life)”
There are 125 pages of this book, each with four questions. I plan to take one page each week and answer the questions as thoroughly and honestly as I am able. In addition, I invite you to answer the questions along with me, whether it be in the comments section, your own personal blog, or just within your own thoughts.
Perhaps in doing so, we will get to know each other better, but even more importantly, get to know ourselves better.
This week’s questions:
If you could choose one new symbol for your family crest, what would it be?
I didn’t even realize I had a family crest. Or even what it looks like if I do have one. So I can’t accurately make an adjustment to something to which I am completely ignorant to in the first place. But I would like to find a way to symbolize my commitment to demonstrating compassion to all animals on this planet.
If you could do any job in the world for one day, what would it be?
For one day? Then I would choose something I would kinda sorta maybe wanna do, but not something I’d want to do so much that one day wouldn’t be enough. Perhaps a tour guide on one of those double decker bus tours of NYC. It would be interesting knowing some of the details of things they know about the city and getting to see them while cruising around in a bus. But bad weather and obnoxious tourists would make it something I’m not sure I could handle for more than a day or so.
If you could be anywhere in history for one day, as someone famous from that time, where would you like to be, when, and as who?
I’m perfectly happy being here and now at the moment. And that’s very rare for me. So I’m going to just enjoy that while it lasts.
If you had to choose the best television show ever made, which one would you pick?
The best drama was My So-Called Life and the best comedy was The Golden Girls.
Those are my answers to this week’s questions. What are yours?
