This is week sixty-seven in my personal “If… Project” in which I answer questions from the book “If… (Questions for the Game of Life)”
There are 125 pages of this book, each with four questions. I plan to take one page each week and answer the questions as thoroughly and honestly as I am able. In addition, I invite you to answer the questions along with me, whether it be in the comments section, your own personal blog, or just within your own thoughts.
Perhaps in doing so, we will get to know each other better, but even more importantly, get to know ourselves better.
This week’s questions:
If you could invent one new home appliance, what would it do?
It would be a cleaning robot that could handle every type of cleaning without needing any attention from me. I would turn it on when I left for work in the morning and by the time I have gotten home, it has swept, dusted, done the dishes, done the laundry, watered the plants, etc.
If you were able to be someone’s personal computer, whose would you like to be?
Someone who runs a porn company. I imagine they would have a ton of images and videos on that hard drive.
If you were to be a news correspondent posted to any foreign country, where would you like to go?
I think the UK. English is still the main language, so living there would be fairly easy in that respect. And it’s close enough to many diverse European countries to visit on long weekends and vacations.
If you had to choose a time in history when overall things were worse than any other single time, when would you say it was?
Well, the Depression sounds like it was a big ole downer. Then again, I’m sure in times of World Wars, things weren’t so peachy either. But I don’t think anything can compare to the massive suckage and complete obliteration of life of the meteor impact that caused the extinction of life on the planet and the beginning of the Ice Age. That had to be a pretty bad day.
Those are my answers to this week’s questions. What are yours?

Question #1:
Absolutely excellent! I can’t come up with anything better. A robotic maid would be the excellent.
Question #2:
The guy who manages the budget for my group at work. I need some computing equipment!
Question #3:
France. Seems like an interesting country to study and explore.
Question #4:
The Ice Age. This is tough. I would really need to be transported back in time to make an accurate assessment….
