If… (Week 66)

This is week sixty-six in my personal “If… Project” in which I answer questions from the book “If… (Questions for the Game of Life)”

There are 125 pages of this book, each with four questions. I plan to take one page each week and answer the questions as thoroughly and honestly as I am able. In addition, I invite you to answer the questions along with me, whether it be in the comments section, your own personal blog, or just within your own thoughts.

Perhaps in doing so, we will get to know each other better, but even more importantly, get to know ourselves better.

This week’s questions:

If you had to permanently give up your children to the care of someone you know, who would you wish it to be?

Well, thank goodness I don’t have children and don’t even have to consider this scenario in my real life. I can’t imagine how terrifying it is to know that you may no longer be around to care for your children and have to have them then be raised by someone else.

I would love to have them be raised by my mother or someone in my immediate family. I think it’s important to keep them with family if at all possible.

If you had to give up your children to the care of someone famous, who would you pick?

Oprah. That lady has got some good money with which to take good care of my kids. They’ll get all of her favorite things each year!

If you were to select a food that best describes your character, what food would it be?

Tofu! And let me tell ya why…

On its own, and at first glance, it might appear to be kinda plain and non-special. But once you start cooking with it, you find that it’s very versatile, can take on many many flavors, and is quite enjoyable.

Just like me!

If you could arrange and jam session with any three musicians in history, who would you include?

Jewel. Pink. And Christina.

I’m a fierce lady singer deep down inside somewhere, apparently.

Those are my answers to this week’s questions. What are yours?
