That Marathon Movie
Surprise!
I filmed the marathon this year, and made my own little documentary of the experience. It’s just like you’re there with me, only without the sore muscles and buckets of sweat!
So, lace up your shoes and join me as I run the 2009 Walt Disney World Marathon!

If… (Week 43)
This is week forty-three in my personal “If… Project” in which I answer questions from the book “If… (Questions for the Game of Life)”
There are 125 pages of this book, each with four questions. I plan to take one page each week and answer the questions as thoroughly and honestly as I am able. In addition, I invite you to answer the questions along with me, whether it be in the comments section, your own personal blog, or just within your own thoughts.
Perhaps in doing so, we will get to know each other better, but even more importantly, get to know ourselves better.
This week’s questions:
If you had to keep one part of your mate’s body permanently in the freezer, what part would you save?
What the hell kind of question is that? All I can think of a serial killer with body parts in the freezer. And why would anyone want to keep any part of their loved one in a freezer? That’s just gross.
If you were the sole survivor of a plane crash with everyone present and had to choose someone to eat in order to survive, who would you select?
I guess I’m fortunate in that I’m alone right now except for Miss Jackson, so my choice, by default, has to be her.
If you could eliminate one hereditary characteristic from your family, what would it be?
I can’t even think of any particular hereditary traits in my family. There are no real health issues that are hereditary that I know of. No physical features that are standing out aside from all of us are brunettes, but that’s not really a problem with me.
If you could be a student at any university in the world right now, where would you enroll?
A university on a gigantic, luxurious cruise ship that had every possible amenity a person would want. And while we studied and learned new things, we would visit the entire world.
Those are my answers to this week’s questions. What are yours?

This week’s questions:
If you could be invisible for one hour, where would you go and what would you do?
Someplace where there would be men in various stages of undress. And hopefully my camera would be invisible too.
If you could relive one romantic date from high school just as it was, which would it be?
I did not date in high school. Trying to date someone in high school would have been begging for even more horrible treatment than I already got.
If you could relive one romantic date from high school as you would like it to have been, which would you choose?
Same answer.
If you had to give up all sexual activity for one year, how much money would you demand (minimum) in return?
Even masturbation? Yeepers! Ten million dollars.
Those are my answers to this week’s questions. What are yours?

I Did It!
I finished the marathon today, and am so. glad. it’s. over.
My time kinda blows; it was the slowest marathon time I’ve had so far, but considering I barely trained (my own fault), and I had the stomach flu about a week ago, I’m so happy just to have finished.
After 5 hours, 55 minutes, and 49 seconds of misery, I now have a new medal to add to my collection!

If… (Week 41)
This is week forty-one in my personal “If… Project” in which I answer questions from the book “If… (Questions for the Game of Life)”
There are 125 pages of this book, each with four questions. I plan to take one page each week and answer the questions as thoroughly and honestly as I am able. This week’s questions:
If you could star in a love scene with any living actor, who would you want to act with, and where would you want it filmed?
The answer to this questions changes with the wind, but I’m in a Penn Badgley sort of mood at the moment. And really, the location doesn’t matter at all. Not a bit.
If you could have survived any historic disaster, which would you choose?
I assume this means a natural disaster, so I’m only considering those. I would pick to survive that big California earthquake from about twenty years ago. No real reason why. Just can’t think of any disaster I would actually want to be part of.
If you could discover that something you thought was true was actually false, what would you wish it to be?
The truth that I wish would be false is that I don’t have super powers. If I found out that it was wrong and that I did have super powers, life would be pretty sweet.
If you could leave flowers on any one person’s grave every week whether you knew them or not, who would it be?
Since I have been blessed to have not had anyone incredibly close to me die (knock on wood), I am choosing someone I didn’t know personally. And that person would be Walt Disney. The gifts he’s given me throughout my life and the legacy he’s left that will continue to give me joy until my death warrant some flowers, I think.
Those are my answers to this week’s questions. What are yours?

This week’s questions:
If you could have the mind of someone you know but remain in your own body, whose brain would you take?
Erin’s. She’s up to date on current events, knowledgeable about basic history. And clear-headed and logical enough about life to have a good head on her shoulders. I often get ideas about life and the ways I want to lead mine from her, so having her mind would just save time.
If you could have the mind of someone from history and remain in your own body, whose would you choose?
Some philosopher, probably. Perhaps Plato.
If you could coach any current sports team professionally, which would you choose?
Well, I pity the team that I coach considering I am not a very athletic person and know nothing about team sports. So, for completely inappropriate reasons, I will coach the men’s gymnastics team. WHAT?!
If you had to name the single most regrettable thing about your country’s history, what would it be?
